| Description | |||
This project involved 30,000 square feet of 5'x 5' perforated honeycomb Lamcel panels on a custom suspension system. The honeycomb panels have a perforated face with 1/8" diameter perforations on a 45° grid with a non-perforated border. The panel finish is a PPG Duranar Silver Metallic 3-coat coil coated finish. The suspension system is a custom design, in order to achieve as low a profile as possible.
The panel system was designed with an open joint, to create the illusion of the perforated panels floating with no visible means of support. The panels run around the perimeter of the lobby, as well as the outdoor perimeter of the building. |
